Impersonators
Before Tina Fey showed us that impersonators could change the world - they were still way cool. Here is a highlight reel to remind us of the best of Fey. Many of us thought that she still had something left in the tank with these impersonations - so long may her Palin impersonations reign.
Also legendary is the day Steve Bridges (who does a pretty mean George Bush) met his muse in person at a White House press dinner.
For some other inspired George Bush flashes (along with just about everyone else), check out the truly talented Frank Caliendo doing a quick character run through on morning television - brilliant.
Check out this great clip of Kevin Spacey ‘doing’ Christopher Walken auditioning for the Han Solo role in Star Wars. If you’ve seen him ‘do’ Walken here or at an awards ceremony, it is surely one of the best impersonations out there.
And just to show that humans aren’t the only great imitators, here’s David Attenborough’s most popular ever TV moment - courtesy of the amazing Lyre Bird of Southern Australia. Check out its kookaburra, camera, car alarm - and even chain saw wielding workmen impersonations.
What are your favorite examples of impersonations?
