The people who put together these ingenious avoiding scam tips deserve a tip of the hat from all of us. Distant, cool analysis undertaken ahead of time is the only way to avoid these chaps (and ladies), who have run through ways to manipulate people a hundred times before us mere ‘marks’. Read a great list of scams here - taken from the UK series The Real Hustle - well worth a look through. The shell game from a recent trip to France I can attest is a truly cunning manipulation of basic human greed. These all use the seven principles of scamming - useful little principles we will be far better placed to know.
